Nibble (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information Nibble handles when you use the iPhone app and this website.

1. Data controller

Nibble is the controller for personal data handled through the service. Contact us at nibblenutritionapp@gmail.com.

2. Information you provide

• Profile information such as name, age, height, weight, goals, and preferences.
• Food logs, nutrition values, fasting records, water entries, weight entries, and meal photos you choose to save.
• Account information from Sign in with Apple, used to create and secure your Nibble account.

3. Device permissions

• Apple HealthKit: only with your permission, for selected activity, weight, and body-composition data. HealthKit data is not used for advertising or sold.
• Camera, photos, microphone, and speech: only when you use the corresponding logging feature.
• Location: only when you enable the weather feature. We use it to request local conditions and do not retain your precise location.

4. How we use information

We use your information to provide nutrition tracking, calculate the goals you request, sync your records across your signed-in devices, provide optional AI features, maintain account security, and respond to support requests.

5. AI processing

If you opt in to AI features, Nibble sends the minimum context needed for the requested analysis through our authenticated service to the configured AI provider. This can include a chosen meal photo, nutrition logs, dietary preferences, and your prompt. We do not send your name or raw HealthKit data to AI providers. Read the full AI processing disclosure.

6. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We use Supabase for account authentication and synced records, Apple for Sign in with Apple and subscriptions, and configured AI and weather providers only when you use those features. Providers process data under their own terms and applicable data-protection agreements.

7. Retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you remove them. Synced records remain in your account until you delete them or request deletion. You can delete your Nibble account from the iPhone app’s account settings or email us. AI request content is not retained by Nibble’s AI relay after processing.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact nibblenutritionapp@gmail.com to exercise those rights.

9. Children

Nibble is not intended for children under 16 in the EU or under 13 elsewhere. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and provide an in-app notice for material changes.
